Mod Garden Party I, II, and III

Mod Garden Party I and its partners (Mod Garden Party II and Mod Garden Party III) are here to remind us that even in the midst of our darkest struggle, when we feel most alone, we still belong to one another. This set was created as a series, with dark swirls of sepia acrylic ink linking the three paintings across the papers. When I was healing, I was awestruck by how many people reached out to remind me that I was loved, that I was cared for, that brighter days full of sunshine and garden parties were coming my way.
